1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDFStamp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

PDFStamp is a browser-based PDF stamping tool that allows users to add text stamps, watermarks, and other markings to PDF documents.

Important: All PDF processing occurs entirely within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. You retain full ownership and control of your documents.

3. User Accounts

While you can use PDFStamp without an account, certain features require registration. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Tiers: PDFStamp offers the following subscription plans:

  • Free: Limited to 5 PDFs per session
  • Pro: $6/month — Unlimited PDFs and additional features
  • Agency: $19/month — Team features and API access

Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • All payments are processed through LemonSqueezy, our third-party payment processor
  • Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Subscription fees are subject to change with 30 days notice

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your LemonSqueezy account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use PDFStamp to:

  • Process documents you do not have rights to modify
  • Create fraudulent documents or forge signatures
  • Add false, defamatory, or illegal stamps to documents
  • Violate any intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service in any way that interferes with its normal operation
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the documents and content you process using PDFStamp. We claim no rights to your files.

PDFStamp IP: The Service, including but not limited to its design, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of PDFStamp or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of the Service will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

You acknowledge that you are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any stamps applied to your documents.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PDFSTAMP AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Any damages resulting from loss of use of documents
  • Any actions taken based on processed documents

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These limitations apply regardless of whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may include links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by PDFStamp, including LemonSqueezy for payments and Cloudflare for hosting.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of such third-party services.

11. Modification of Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.

We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the Service without liability.

12. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Abuse of the Service or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PDFStamp operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within that jurisdiction.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue other legal remedies available.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending an email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PDFStamp regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
